SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION

No Cancellation Fees
You may cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees or penalties. We believe in making it easy to join and easy to leave.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

Option 1: Through Your Account (Recommended)

  1. Log into your account on our website
  2. Navigate to "Account Settings" or "Subscription Management"
  3. Click "Manage Subscription"
  4. Select "Cancel Subscription"
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
  6. You will receive a confirmation email

Option 2: Email Us

  1. Email us at cancel@thebrotherhoodbox.com
  2. Use subject line: "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Include your name and email address associated with your account
  4. We will process your cancellation within 1-2 business days
  5. You will receive a confirmation email

Cancellation Deadline
To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel your subscription BEFORE your next billing date.

The cancellation deadline depends on your subscription plan:

  • The Brotherhood Box ($88/quarter): Cancel before your next quarterly billing date to avoid being charged for the next 3 months.
  • Coaching Only ($100/month): Cancel before your next monthly billing date to avoid being charged for the next month.
  • Box + Coaching ($350/quarter): Cancel before your next quarterly billing date to avoid being charged for the next 3 months

Important reminders:

  • If you cancel on or after your billing date, you will be charged for that billing period.
  • We recommend cancelling at least 2-3 days before your renewal date to ensure processing time.
  • You can find your next billing date in your account settings

What Happens After Cancellation

Access to Benefits
You will retain access to all subscription benefits through the end of your current billing period:

For The Brotherhood Box subscribers:

  • Your quarterly box (if not yet shipped) will still be sent to you.
  • Community access remains active until the end of your current quarterly period

For Coaching Only subscribers:

  • You can still book and attend coaching sessions until your monthly billing period ends.
  • Community access remains active until the end of your current monthly period

For Box + Coaching subscribers:

  • You can still book and attend coaching sessions until your quarterly billing period ends.
  • Your quarterly box (if not yet shipped) will still be sent to you.
  • Community access remains active until the end of your current quarterly period

No Refunds for Remaining Time

  • Cancelling your subscription does NOT result in a refund for the current billing period.
  • You have paid for and will receive benefits through the end of your current subscription term.
  • The only exception is our First Month Guarantee (see Return and Refund Policy)

Reactivating Your Subscription
You can reactivate your cancelled subscription at any time:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Navigate to subscription settings
  3. Select "Reactivate Subscription"
  4. Confirm your payment method
  5. Your subscription will resume at the current pricing

Note: If you cancelled and rejoin later, you will pay the current regular price, not any promotional or founding member rates you may have had previously.

PAUSING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION (ALTERNATIVE TO CANCELLATION)

If you need a temporary break but don't want to cancel permanently:

Skipping a Billing Period

For The Brotherhood Box subscribers ($88/quarter):

  • Log into your account before your next quarterly billing date.
  • Select "Skip Next Quarter"
  • Your subscription will pause for one quarter (3 months).
  • You will not be charged for that quarter.
  • Your subscription will automatically resume the following quarter

For Coaching Only subscribers ($100/month):

  • Log into your account before your next monthly billing date.
  • Select "Skip Next Month"
  • Your subscription will pause for one month.
  • You will not be charged for that month.
  • Your subscription will automatically resume the following month

For Box + Coaching subscribers ($350/quarter):

  • Log into your account before your next quarterly billing date.
  • Select "Skip Next Quarter"
  • Your subscription will pause for one quarter (3 months).
  • You will not be charged for that quarter.
  • You will not receive a box or have access to coaching during the skipped quarter.
  • Your subscription will automatically resume the following quarter

Important Notes About Skipping:

  • Box and Box + Coaching subscribers: You can skip up to 2 consecutive quarters.
  • Coaching Only subscribers: You can skip up to 2 consecutive months.
  • When you skip, you will not have access to any subscription benefits during the skipped period.
  • You cannot skip the current billing period if your box has already been processed or shipped

Pausing Your Subscription (Extended Break)

  • Email us at pause@thebrotherhoodbox.com with "Pause Subscription" in the subject line.
  • Let us know how long you'd like to pause (up to 9 months for quarterly plans, up to 3 months for monthly plans).
  • We will pause your subscription and billing.
  • You will need to contact us to reactivate when you're ready to return

COACHING SESSION CANCELLATIONS (For Coaching Only and Box + Coaching Subscribers)

This section covers cancelling individual coaching sessions, not your subscription.

Cancelling 1:1 Coaching Sessions

Timely Cancellation (24+ hours notice)

  • Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled session.
  • No penalty or loss of coaching time.
  • Rebook your session for another available time slot.
  • Cancel through SimplePractice platform or email your coach

Late Cancellation (Less than 24 hours notice)

  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, this is a "late cancellation"
  • You are allowed ONE late cancellation per month without penalty.
  • You can reschedule this session.
  • Additional late cancellations in the same month will result in forfeiture of 20 minutes of your monthly coaching time

No-Show (Didn't Cancel or Attend)

  • If you don't show up for a scheduled session without cancelling, you forfeit 20 minutes of your monthly coaching allocation.
  • No-show sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded

Cancelling Group Coaching Sessions

  • You can cancel attendance at any group session without penalty.
  • Simply don't attend the session you registered for.
  • However, repeatedly booking and not attending group sessions may result in the coach restricting your future group session access

Coach-Initiated Cancellations

  • If your coach needs to cancel your session, you will not lose any coaching time.
  • We will work with you to reschedule at a convenient time.
  • You will be notified as soon as possible if a coach cancellation occurs

SUBSCRIPTION CHANGES (NOT CANCELLATION)

Upgrading Your Plan

From The Brotherhood Box to Box + Coaching:

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Select "Upgrade Plan".
  3. Confirm payment method for new rate ($350/quarter).
  4. You'll be charged the prorated difference for the current quarter.
  5. Upgrade takes effect immediately - you gain access to coaching right away.

From Coaching Only to Box + Coaching:

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Select "Upgrade Plan"
  3. Confirm payment method for new rate ($350/quarter).
  4. You'll be charged the prorated difference and your billing will switch to quarterly.
  5. Your first box will ship with the next quarterly shipment.

From The Brotherhood Box to Coaching Only:
Note: This is switching plans, not upgrading. Contact us at coaching@thebrotherhoodbox.com to make this change.

Downgrading Your Plan

From Box + Coaching to The Brotherhood Box:

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Select "Change Plan"
  3. Confirm downgrade to $88/quarter (removes coaching).
  4. Downgrade takes effect at your next quarterly billing cycle (not immediately).
  5. Complete any remaining coaching sessions before downgrade date.

From Box + Coaching to Coaching Only:

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Select "Change Plan"
  3. Confirm downgrade to $100/month (removes box, changes to monthly billing).
  4. Downgrade takes effect at your next quarterly billing cycle.
  5. You will no longer receive quarterly boxes.

From Coaching Only to The Brotherhood Box:
Note: This is switching plans, not downgrading. Contact us at coaching@thebrotherhoodbox.com to make this change.

TERMINATION BY US

We reserve the right to terminate your subscription immediately without refund if:

  • You violate our Terms of Service.
  • You violate Community Guidelines.
  • You engage in fraudulent activity.
  • You abuse or harass our team or other members.
  • Your payment method repeatedly fails and you don't update it.
  • You engage in behavior harmful or disruptive to our community.

If we terminate your subscription, you will receive written notice via email explaining the reason.

EFFECTS OF CANCELLATION

When your subscription ends (by cancellation or termination):

  • You will no longer be charged subscription fees.
  • You will lose access to community features.
  • Box subscribers (The Brotherhood Box and Box + Coaching): You will not receive future quarterly boxes.
  • Coaching subscribers (Coaching Only and Box + Coaching): You will lose access to coaching services.
  • Your account information will be retained per our Privacy Policy.
  • You can reactivate at any time at current pricing

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

✓ Cancel BEFORE your billing date to avoid being charged for the next billing period
